Beginning, novice, and intermediate divers who wish to gain additional skills can benefit from dryland training. For more on dryland training, please click here: Dryland Training.
We offer semi-private dryland lessons with two athletes. Each lesson is 40 minutes and includes a minimum of 10 minutes of safety belt work over either dryboard or trampoline, as well as supervised bodyweight and technical training. Athletes will alternate their time in the belt in order to provide some rest time in between turns.
Weight Limit: 140 pounds
Times are in 40-minute blocks on Tuesdays between 5:00 and 7:00 PM in the USAFA dryland room.
- Block 1 is from 5:00-5:40 PM.
- Block 2 is from 5:40-6:20 PM.
- Block 3 is from 6:20-7:00 PM.
Cost: $30 per athlete per time block for current members (athletes currently paying CSDC tuition) and $45 per athlete per time block for non-members (athletes not currently enrolled in a CSDC program). Regardless of CSDC enrollment status, all athletes must still have a current AAU membership for insurance purposes. Each time block requires two athletes.
Contact Coach Jim at jehocking (at) sbcglobal (dot) net to arrange for a dryland lesson.
Please Note: Athletes may not be in the dryland room without a coach plus at least one more athlete/coach/parent/guardian present. Verify before dropping off your athlete that there will be other coaches or athletes present during training times. For parents/guardians driving their athletes to and from practice, plan to drop your athlete off and pick them up within 10 minutes of the starting and ending time of practices.
