The J.O. Gold and Silver Teams are for divers who have full competitive lists for their age groups on 1m and 3m, and are committed to competing in club meets throughout the year. J.O. Gold and Silver Team members actively work toward learning the dives needed to be competitive at a regional, zone, and national level, as well as in college. These dives include, but are not limited to, the following:
1m: 104b, 105c, 203c/b, 303c/b, 403c/b, 5132d, 5231d
3m: 105c/b, 203c/b/a, 303c/b, 403c/b, 5132d, 5321d, 5233d
Team members also work toward developing a platform list. In addition to pool time, the Gold and Silver Teams spend a significant amount of time doing dryland training for general fitness, to gain strength and speed, and to work on dive-specific drills.
Divers have the option of attending practice three (silver) or four (gold) times per week. Gold Team divers dive Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sundays, and attend two dryland/dryboard practices per week. Silver Team divers dive on Sundays and two other days of the week of their choice, and attend one dryland/dryboard practice per week. We work with each athlete and his/her family to determine specific schedules for both dryland/dryboard and pool practices.
All placements on the J.O. Gold and Silver Teams are determined by the coaching staff.
Prices per six-week session:
Gold (4x per week): $550/session + $400 joining/travel fee*
Silver (3x per week): $450/session + $400 joining/travel fee*
