The dryboard is a conventional diving board set up to land on a large mat instead of the water. With both the dryboard and trampoline, there is an overhead spotting rig with a harness, which allows divers to learn new dives in a belt before attempting them into the water. Both dryboard and trampoline allow divers to fine-tune dives, as it is often easier to make corrections in the belt than it is into the water. During dryboard and trampoline training, divers work one-on-one with the coach and can complete many repetitions in a very short period of time.
